​Position: Classic Car Automotive Technician
 
Location: Joe Basil Chevrolet, 5111 Transit Rd Depew NY 14043

Schedule: Full-time (No Sundays)

Classic Car Automotive Technician Compensation: Between $50,000- $85,000 annually (based on knowledge, experience, and volume)

Classic Car Automotive Technician Job Duties:
  • General mechanical knowledge on classic cars ranging from 1940’s - early 2000’s
  • Perform basic breaks, suspension, transmission, and engine services
  • Minor interior trim
  • Electrical repairs
  • Performs work outlined on repair orders with efficiency/accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
  • Communicates and works effectively with the parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Communicates with the service advisor if additional work is needed or recommended
  • Accurately documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
  • Road tests vehicles when required
  • Maintains thorough knowledge and understanding of all information provided on manufacturer technical bulletins
  • Ensures that the customer’s car is kept clean
  • Ensures work area is always maintained and cleaned
  • Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
Must have tools
Must have valid NYS Inspectors License
