Do you succeed in a high pace fun environment? Basil Ford in Cheektowaga, NY is looking for a full-time team member as our Maintenance Supervisor/Custodian. You are the first interaction with the customer and set the tone for the rest of the customer’s experience. We are looking for a friendly, high energy and fun seeking individual.

Position: Maintenance Supervisor/Custodian

Location: Basil Ford, 1540 Walden Ave, Cheektowaga, NY 14225

Maintenance Supervisor/ Custodian Compensation: $17-22/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Five days a week- Some weekends or off hours May Be required for emergency maintenance

Maintenance Supervisor/Custodian Job Duties and qualifications:
  • Minor Electrical and Plumbing repairs
  • Drywall repair and paint
  • Replacement of ceiling tiles
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Rearrange office furniture and equipment
  • Seasonal Landscaping
  • Lawn and Parking Lot Maintenance
  • Snow Removal
  • Monthly OSHA and fire prevention Inspections
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to climb a ladder and lift at least 60lbs
  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the dealership on schedule determined by management.
  • Making sure the exterior areas are clean and upkept
  • Sanitize bathrooms (counter, sinks, toilets, and mirrors) and restocks paper supplies, as needed
  • Clean refrigerators, counters, sinks, coffee stations, microwaves, etc.
  • Vacuum floors and spot/stain maintenance on furniture
  • Empty and clean all trash receptacles, inside and outside
  • Remove all debris/garbage from lot and grounds
  • Wash all windows, glass doors and glass panels throughout dealership
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
