Position: Shipping and Receiving Associate

Location: Joe Basil Chevrolet – 5111 Transit Rd Depew NY 14043

Compensation: Between $20.00-$25.00 per hour (Based on knowledge, experience, store franchise, and volume)

Schedule: Full Time - 5 Day Work Week

Job Duties and qualifications:
  • Responsible for ensuring all parts and products are entered into inventory accurately and efficiently
  • Process all incoming parts orders from GM via dedicated delivery trucks, Fed Ex, UPS and all outside vendors
  • Restocks shelves with new inventory
  • Accurately record and manage parts inventory
  • Handling of material returns (Core, Warranty, damaged returns)
  • Maintain clean workplace
  • Help drivers with loading of parts trucks
  • Receive and inspect parts for quality and accuracy
  • Ensure timely distribution to the shop in accordance with the production schedule
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for purchased and/or returned parts
  • Keep parts area clean and well organized for production efficiency
  • Strong computer skills - parts catalogs and parts processing is performed electronically
  • Must be self-disciplined: work without constant supervision and be goal oriented
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather and be physically capable of lifting up to 75 pounds
Valid Driver’s License required​ for all positions
