Basil Family Dealerships is currently hiring a Collision Apprentice/ Disassembly Technician. This is a prime opportunity to grow with an established dealership and strong team.  We will provide continuous, paid training in support of growing qualified and skilled technicians. With ongoing training, we will help set a career path which over time will advance entry level technicians to senior-level (I-Car Certified) Collision technicians. 

Position: Collision Apprentice/Disassembly Technician 

Location: Basil Ford Walden – 1540 Walden Ave, Cheektowaga NY 14225 

Schedule: Full Time - Mon-Fri 

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per Hour (Based on knowledge, experience, store franchise, and volume)

Responsibilities:  
  • Learning disassembly and reassembly of vehicles
  • Disassemble vehicles to be estimated  
  • Perform minor vehicle repairs related to collision damages meeting dealership and factory standards – guided by mentor technician
  • Perform entry level body work
  • Prep vehicles for paint
  • Being willing and able to learn
